Статтю присвячено дослідженню теоретико-методичних підходів до оцінювання ефективності судово-експертної діяльності науково-дослідних інститутів (установ) судової експертизи. Визначено критерії та здійснено групування по-казників ефективності судово-експертної діяльності, пов’язаної з організаційно-управлінським та науково-методичним й інформаційним забезпеченням, виконанням судовими експертами експертиз та надання висновку, з підбором й підготов-кою судово-експертних кадрів. Обґрунтовано використання комплексного інтегрального показника для оцінювання ефек-тивності судово-експертної діяльності та виявлення впливу кожного напрямку діяльності науково-дослідних інститутів (установ) судової експертизи на ефективність загалом.
