У статті досліджено підходи авторів до визначення поняття «туристичні послуги» та надано авторське визначення даного поняття. Проведено аналіз основних показників розвитку ринку туристичних послуг в Україні. Обґрунтовано проблеми та перспективи розвитку вітчизняного ринку туристичних послуг. Відповідно до проведеного дослідження туристичної безпеки в Україні раціонально виділити непромислові території та особливі зони, для яких розвиток туризму було б пріоритетним завданням.
