У статті проаналізовано законодавче регулювання гендерної рівності в Україні на сучасному етапі. Доведено, що гендерна рівність передбачає рівні права в усіх сферах незалежно від статі. Воєнний стан в Україні вимагає динамічних змін на законодавчому рівні й застосування кращого міжнародного досвіду. У статті розглянуто стереотипи, нормативно-правові акти забезпечення рівності та перспективи подальшого втілення рівності прав жінок та чоловіків у сучасному суспільстві. Окремо визначено напрями гендерної політики в Збройних Силах України.
