The paper investigates the impact of digital transformation and artificial intelligence technologies on the efficiency of personnel selection processes in modern organizations. The paper identifies key directions of HR digitalization, including recruitment automation, the use of chatbots, analytical platforms, ATS-systems, and AI-based tools for candidate assessment. To examine the dynamics of labour market requirements, a content analysis of HR manager job postings from 2015–2023 was conducted using open data retrieved through web archives. The methodological basis of the research includes system, comparative and content analysis, as well as generalization of scientific publications and analytical reports on HR technologies. The results demonstrate a gradual evolution of professional requirements -from basic computer literacy and administrative competencies to advanced digital skills, data analytics, and the ability to work with AI-driven HR systems. The study shows that the effectiveness of modern recruitment is determined by the balanced combination of automated technologies and human expertise, which ensures objectivity, accuracy, and flexibility of personnel decisions. The findings confirm that digital transformation not only optimizes HR processes but also enhances the quality of hiring, supporting strategic development and organizational efficiency in the digital economy. Moreover, the research emphasizes that the integration of advanced technological tools strengthens the strategic role of HR departments, enabling organizations to build more adaptive, data-driven, and resilient talent management systems. Additionally, the study highlights that the rapid expansion of AI-based solutions requires organizations to invest in continuous upskilling of HR professionals, ensure ethical use of automated decision-making tools, and maintain transparency in candidate evaluation. These considerations become increasingly important as companies shift toward hybrid recruitment models that combine the strengths of human judgment with the precision of digital analytics.
