The paper is devoted to a comprehensive study of the impact of digital transformation on the efficiency of project management in the defense-industrial complex of Ukraine. The authors emphasize the significance of digitalization as a strategic tool for enhancing productivity, transparency, and the integration of management processes in complex defense projects. In the context of high technological dynamics, uncertainty, and increased competition, traditional management methods prove insufficiently effective, which necessitates the implementation of modern digital technologies. The paper examines key digitalization tools, including project management systems, digital twins, big data analytics, automated monitoring systems, integrated platforms for product lifecycle management, and technologies for forecasting project outcomes. The practical aspects of applying digital solutions in enterprises of Ukraine's defense-industrial complex are analyzed. In particular, automated project management systems enable task planning, resource allocation, and schedule control, ensuring accurate forecasting and rapid response to changes. The use of digital twins allows for simulating equipment behavior and testing designs without significant material costs, reducing development time and mitigating risks. Big data analytics provides the processing of large volumes of information, prediction of deviations during project execution, and data-driven decision-making. Integrated platforms, such as Siemens Teamcenter and Dassault Systèmes 3DEXPERIENCE, facilitate the unification of management, research, and production processes, improving coordination among departments and enhancing transparency in the implementation of complex defense projects. Special attention is given to the human resources and organizational aspects of digitalization. The training of specialists, development of organizational culture, regulatory support, and cybersecurity are critically important for the effective implementation of digital technologies. Digitalization of management processes not only optimizes the use of material, financial, and human resources but also ensures a systematic approach to planning, monitoring, and evaluating projects at all stages of the project lifecycle. The study demonstrates that digital transformation in Ukraine's defense-industrial complex contributes to increased operational and strategic resilience, reduction of project timelines, risk mitigation, and the creation of conditions for innovative development. It serves as a key factor in ensuring technological independence and national security, providing opportunities for integration with international project management standards and enhancing the long-term competitiveness of the sector.
