Introduction. At the present stage, the primary condition for a company to survive and remain competitive in the market is its flexibility and readiness to restructure business processes. As a result, managers increasingly prefer more radical management approaches, such as reengineering, to traditional ones. However, domestic enterprises often face challenges in building a system for reengineering their business processes due to a lack of experience in this area. The study's relevance lies in the need to develop the theoretical and applied foundations for building a reengineering system for enterprises, which will reveal all the integral elements of this system and their unified content. The purpose of the paper is to develop the theoretical and applied principles of building a reengineering system in enterprises. Results. Reengineering helps solve the enterprise's existing problems, bring it to a new level of development, and ensure its stable and efficient functioning in the market in the future, based on the restructuring of business processes. Based on the literature study, it is proposed to understand the enterprise reengineering system as a set of interrelated and interacting elements, namely, subjects, objects, goals, objectives, methodology, technology, performance indicators and criteria, and resource provision, to achieve the planned results. The technology of enterprise business process reengineering includes preparation, development, and implementation phases based on the respective stages. Reengineering implementation requires high-quality resource provision, mainly information, personnel, financial, software and hardware, and material. Conclusions. To meet the growing challenges of the modern business environment, managers are increasingly turning to radical management approaches, one of which is reengineering. To effectively implement reengineering, developing and using a systematic approach that considers all the integral elements of this process and ensures their logical and consistent interaction is advisable.
