Статтю присвячено дослідженню циркулярної економіки як детермінанти сталого розвитку та конкурентоспроможності України. Проаналізовано основні засади, принципи циркулярної економіки та основні переваги від їх впровадження, здійснено аналіз нормативно-законодавчих актів в Україні та ЄС, досліджено основні методи поводження з відходами в Україні та країнах ЄС, розглянуто структуру поводження з відходами в Україні у розрізі п’ятирічної ретроспективи. Визначено основні бар’єри, пов’язані із переходом від лінійної до циркулярної економіки, запропоновано рекомендації з пришвидшення переходу до кругової економіки.

Ключові слова : циркулярна економіка, економіка замкнутого циклу, інновації, відходи, переробка
