У статті виконано наукове дослідження адміністративно-правових засад організації публічної служби в органах управління Державної прикордонної служби України. Визначено, що публічна служба в органах управління Державної прикордонної служби України є особливим видом публічної служби – т. зв. «публічною службою у правоохоронних органах» і має як загальні ознаки публічної служби, притаманні усім видам публічної служби загалом і службі у правоохоронних органах зокрема, так і специфічні ознаки.
