У статті здійснено дослідження підстав притягнення до кримінальної відповідальності аудитора за підроблення офіційних документів. У зв’язку з проведення агресивної війни росії проти України та з метою виконання вимог чинного законодавства аудитор зобов’язаний перевірити результати проведеного первинного фінансового моніторингу станом на дату прийняття клієнта, зокрема, встановити кінцевого бенефіціарного власника клієнта. Проте відомості про наявність або відсутність кінцевого бенефіціарного власника клієнта аудитором ніде не фіксуються, оскільки закон не зобов’язує аудитора зазначати про це в аудиторському звіті.
