У статті досліджено праці вітчизняних та іноземних вчених з питань розвитку компетентностей у вивчені дисциплін циклу інформаційних технологій. Відображено поділ компетентностей за різними методологіями. Описано класифікацію компетентностей. Досліджено технологічний інструментарій єдиного інформаційно-освітнього середовища. Виділена концепція накопичення компетентностей.
