Готельна галузь особливо гостро відчула на собі наслідки поширення COVID-19: зниження попиту, закриття, фінансові труднощі, звільнення персоналу. Автор з’ясовує з якими найбільш поширеними ризиками стикаються більшість керівників готелів під час поширення COVID-19 та пропонує антикризові заходи щодо їх запобігання чи унеможливлення. Особливу увагу приділено таким напрямам антикризового управління готелями: проблемам утримання персоналу та забезпечення безпечних й гігієнічних умов у готелях, наголошено на необхідності реклами та стратегічного партнерства. Як окремий напрям антикризового управління для підприємств малого готельного бізнесу автором запропоноване переобладнання існуючого комплексу під апарт-готель.
