Досліджено сучасний стан нормативно-правової регламентації процедури банкрутства в Україні. Аналіз профільного закону, що регламентує процедури банкрутства, дозволив: окреслити положення, що мають дискусійний характер; виокремити основні недоліки нормативно-правового акту; визначити можливості для вдосконалення нормативно-правового регулювання у сфері банкрутства. За результатами дослідження запропоновані орієнтири щодо розробки змін до Кодексу України з процедур банкрутства з урахуванням рекомендацій та напрацювань науковців і практиків, правових висновків Верховного Суду України.
