У зв’язку з веденням Україною бойових дій на Сході виникла потреба у правовому захисті внутрішньо переміщених осіб. Надано правові висновки стосовно стану дотримання прав і свобод ВПО у разі отримання ними адміністративних послуг у сфері пенсійного забезпечення. Виявлено проблему створення нерівних умов особам зі статусом ВПО та особам без такого статусу під час реалізації ними права на пенсію. Обґрунтовано необхідність скасування підзаконного акту, який суперечить закону та встановлює дискримінаційні положення щодо ВПО. Аргументовано пропозиції змін до законодавства в частині нових умов призначення/перерахунку пенсії ВПО. Врахування та реалізація отриманих результатів забезпечить відсутність потреби у контролі здійснення виплат за місцем проживанням ВПО, та в існуванні окремого порядку виплат пенсії ВПО, припинить дискримінацію ВПО.
