У статті узагальнено основні проблеми ціноутворення на ринку стоматологічних послуг в Україні. Виокремлено характерні ознаки медичної послуги та чинники, зокрема економічні, які впливають на формування ціни на ці послуги, а також аспекти, якими керується споживач під час вибору того чи іншого медичного закладу в умовах сучасної конкуренції. Визначено цінові та нецінові фактори попиту на стоматологічні послуги. Порівняно ціни на стоматологічні послуги у приватних та державних закладах, обраховано середнє їхнє значення, а також з допомогою середньоквадратичного відхилення визначено, наскільки значущі є розбіжності в цінах на стоматологічні послуги в межах галузі.
