У статті досліджено поняття фінансового планування через його змістові аспекти, цілі та інструменти. Акцентовано на необхідності певних змін у процесі фінансового планування на державних підприємствах. Зокрема, визначено, що зміни повинні стосуватися: обґрунтованого формулювання фінансових цілей керівником державного підприємства разом з представниками керівництва органу управління; розробки декількох сценаріїв фінансових планів з їх подальшою оптимізацією; розроблення та затвердження остаточного фінансового плану згідно з новими законодавчими вимогами; запуск онлайн-платформи для подання важливої публічної інформації про діяльність державних підприємств, зокрема документів фінансової звітності державних підприємств.
