У статті здійснено загальний аналіз стану соціального захисту військовослужбовців та його нормативно-правового забезпечення. Дано окрему оцінку Закону України «Про соціальний і правовий захист військовослужбовців та членів їх сімей» та встановлено, що саме цей закон визначає загальний вектор соціального захисту військовослужбовців. З’ясовано, що сучасні реабілітаційні програми передбачають не лише медичну й фізичну реабілітацію, але й психологічну як важливу складову ментального здоров’я. Досліджено окремі компенсаційні виплати. Дано окрему оцінку підставам призначення одноразової грошової допомоги.
