У статті акцентовано на особливостях реформування органів прокуратури в країнах ЄС. Проаналізовано й розкрито характерні особливості функціонування прокуратури в різних державах та на основі цього визначено деякі уроки для України. Робота містить погляди вітчизняних науковців-процесуалістів на удосконалення діяльності органів прокуратури. Застосовуючи зарубіжний досвід адміністративно-правового забезпечення діяльності прокуратури, важливо враховувати, що зовнішні стандарти можуть впливати на внутрішню модель національної прокуратури й призводити до підміни її специфічних особливостей на користь загальних зовнішніх стандартів, які відповідають загальній динаміці глобалізації.
