Статтю присвячено дослідженню поняття «комплаєнс» у системі внутрішнього контролю суб’єкта господарювання з метою покращення її ефективності в системі управління банками України та забезпечення дотримання методичних рекомендацій й стандартів корпоративного управління професійними учасниками фондового ринку. Розглянуто теоретичні аспекти комплаєнсу, а саме визначення авторів у науковій літературі стосовно цієї категорії. Виділено основні види комплаєнсу, які застосовуються для будь-яких суб’єктів господарювання. Розкрито особливості системи комплаєнсу внутрішнього контролю для забезпечення ефективності корпоративного управління, а також висвітлено пріоритети застосування функції комплаєнс в зарубіжних країнах, як певний досвід, що потребує цілеспрямованого впровадження в нашій державі.
