У сучасних умовах, коли країна потерпає від повномасштабного вторгнення ззовні, в середині неї є не менший ворог – корупція. Важливим чинником, який сприяє в боротьбі з корупцією, є громадянське суспільство, яке за допомогою різноманітних засобів може сприяти антикорупційним органам у боротьбі з таким негативним явищем, як корупція. Метою дослідження є аналіз участі громадськості у застосуванні таких інструментів протидії корупції, як декларування осіб, уповноважених на виконання функцій держави або місцевого самоврядування, моніторинг їх способу життя, шляхів їх взаємодії з НАЗК, а також виокремлення недоліків в законодавстві та напрацювання пропозицій з їх усунення.
