Висвітлено питання реалізації механізмів захисту прав споживачів на двох ієрархічно підпорядкованих рівнях – міжнародному та національному. Помічено, що для європейської політики довіра споживача до ринку є ключовою, а тому система повинна мати достатній спектр дієвих інструментів для їхнього запобігання. На основі проаналізованих справ, які ілюструють належне забезпечення захисту прав споживачів на рівні Суду ЄС, подано уявлення про відповідність закріплення норм вимогам сучасності.
