Вчення про функції права є важливим складником теорії права і несе в собі значний пізнавальний і практичний потенціал. Мета статті – розкриття методологічних особливостей вчення про функції трудового права у зв’язку зі своїм значенням для його розвитку в сучасних умовах, які постають для вирішення перед трудовим правом. Визначено методологічні правила пізнання та формулювання функцій: правило конструкційної єдності, правило основного напряму, правило цільової обґрунтованості окремих функцій, правило безпосереднього нерозривного зв’язку функцій між собою.
Ключові слова : функції права, трудове право, методологія, вчення про функції трудового права, інтереси працівника і роботодавця
