У статті проаналізовано стратегічні напрями вдосконалення адміністративно-правового регулювання діяльності правоохоронних органів як суб’єктів формування та реалізації державної політики у сфері національної безпеки і оборони. Узагальнено, що правоохоронним органам має бути забезпеченою здатність чинити ефективний вплив на різні аспекти безпеки країни з позиції функціональної єдності, що дасть їм змогу стратегічно та функціонально вирішувати питання національної безпеки і оборони України. Запропоновано авторську варіацію вдосконалення адміністративно-правового регулювання діяльності правоохоронних органів як суб’єктів формування та реалізації державної політики у сфері національної безпеки і оборони з акцентуацією на необхідності утворення спеціалізованого державного суб’єкта – Центру координації та взаємодії правоохоронної діяльності при Раді національної безпеки і оборони України.
