У статті висвітлено проблему визначення фінансово-правового статусу Європейського центрального банку шляхом аналізу наукових підходів до сутності поняття «фінансово-правового статусу центрального банку», а також складників елементів, що визначають цей статус. Окрему увагу приділено співвіднесенню фінансово-правового статусу Європейського центрального банку та Національного банку України: у повноваженнях, незалежності, розподілу прибутку, та функціях.
