Статтю присвячено деяким особливостям інвестиційної діяльності страхових компаній, що надають послуги у сфері страхування життя, здоров’я та пенсійного забезпечення, а також їх цивільно-правому регулюванню. Проаналізовано норми національного законодавства, що регулюють договір довгострокового страхування життя, зокрема з інвестиційним складником. Досліджено наукові підходи до розуміння інвестицій загалом та особливості здійснення інвестиційної діяльності страховими компаніями-life. Визначено цивільно-правовий порядок інвестування страховиками коштів, залучених від страхувальників за договором довгострокового страхування життя та за договорами інвестиційного страхування життя. Наведено приклади інвестиційної діяльності страхових компаній, що є лідерами ринку страхування життя.
