У статті подано характеристику поняття «політика економічної безпеки». Актуальність теми визначено необхідністю економічної безпеки України, яка зумовлена об'єктивними процесами та явищами, що відбуваються як у національній економіці й суспільстві, так і у світовому просторі.. Визначено, що суть економічної безпеки полягає в готовності державних інститутів забезпечити національні інтереси держави та створити механізми захисту національної економіки, забезпечити спроможність суспільства до підтримання та оновлення відтворювальних процесів і соціально-політичної стабільності. Зазначено, що економічна безпека є не тільки однією з найважливіших складових комплексної системи національної безпеки, а й підґрунтям для дотримання та реалізації державних інтересів.
Ключові слова : політика економічної безпеки, загроза глобалізації, стратегічний розвиток, зовнішньополітична діяльність, геополітичні фактори
