Проаналізовано основні міжнародні та вітчизняні нормативно-правові акти, які оперують терміном «принципи державної політики у сфері захисту прав споживачів». Встановлено, що в українському праві принципи слабо прив’язані до міжнародних принципів та євроінтеграційних зобов’язань. Виділено специфіку, що впливає на визначення принципів державної споживчої політики в Україні на засадах Європейського Союзу. Запропоновано бачення структури цих принципів та їх законодавче закріплення у ст. 3 Закону України «Про захист прав споживачів».
