Статтю присвячено ідентифікації сутності конкурентного потенціалу підприємств та систему конкурентних переваг загалом. Виявлено основні проблеми із становленням рівня конкурентного потенціалу підприємств із виробництва штучних ялинок, що виступили об’єктом дослідження у роботі. Запропоновано оптимальні шляхи їх вирішення: виконати пошук нового підходу до оцінювання рівня розвитку трудового складника конкурентного потенціалу та здійснити переорієнтацію на застосування європейських стандартів у матеріально-сировинному забезпеченні виробничого процесу підприємств.
