Статтю присвячено висвітленню процесу інтеграції України до Європейського Союзу: аналізу історичного шляху, порівнянню думок вітчизняних та зарубіжних спеціалістів, прогнозуванню можливих економічних та юридичних недоліків та переваг. Акцентовано увагу на тому, що нині спостерігається значний вплив міжнародних інтеграційних процесів на функціонування регіональних і державних систем, але й окремих спільнот і країн на їхню внутрішню політику. Автори дійшли висновку, що вступ України до Європейського Союзу – це складний вибір, що потребує ретельного аналізу всіх можливих наслідків та користі для країни.
