У статті висвітлено тему європейської інтеграції. Україна визначилась із вектором зовнішньої політики, поставивши за мету інтеграцію в європейський політичний, економічний, правовий простір з метою набуття членства в Європейському Союзі (ЄС). Процес розширення ЄС відкриває для України нові стратегічні перспективи та додаткові можливості поглиблення євроінтеграційної політики нашої держави. Але водночас на сучасному етапі відносин України з ЄС є багато проблем, які треба усунути для набуття членства в ЄС. У статті розглянуто шлях України до євроінтеграції, зазначили, які є критерії членства в ЄС, а також проаналізовано, які з них Україною вже виконано. Акцентовано увагу на реформах, необхідних для отримання членства в ЄС. З’ясовано перешкоди на шляху євроінтеграції України та вказали способи їх подолання.
