The article describes the results of studies of existing methodological approaches to assessing the quality of services provided by consumers as a basis for the formation of technologies for ensuring competitiveness. Methodical approaches to the evaluation of the quality of services to consumers as a basis for the formation of technologies for ensuring competitiveness are investigated. The dependence of the competitiveness of the airline on the quality of the aviation services provided by it is proved. Ensuring the competitiveness of an airline is a systematic, multi-step process within an airline, which is to determine the strategic direction and its implementation by combining resources and operating mode so as to improve the quality of air services subsequently. Ensuring the competitiveness of the airline in the aviation market by improving their quality is possible through the use of methods, tools, analysis, planning, organization, control and information technology, which facilitates informed decisions aimed at survival and consolidation of positions in the conditions of aggravated competition. The model of complex air quality assessment provided by the airline is substantiated. On the basis of our own interpretation of the competitiveness of the air service, the dependence of the competitiveness of the airline on the quality of its air services is proved. Using the criterion approach, the model of complex air quality assessment provided by the airline was substantiated, a matrix was created and explanations were given regarding its use in the practice of competitiveness of airlines.
