The article investigates the current state and prospects of development of innovative processes in the agro-industrial complex in the conditions of globalization and integration of the country into the world economic space. The most optimal and effective mechanisms for introducing innovative activity of the agricultural sector of the economy are determined. First and foremost steps of transformation in agrarian production policy in the sphere of innovations are developed and substantiated. The main possible trends and trends of modern support for the development of innovative processes at all stages of product creation and its realization are determined. Purposeful state policy aimed at introducing an innovative model of agricultural sector development, aimed at intensifying the research of innovative developments with a view to their further introduction into the production activities of domestic enterprises, should become the basis for further development of the agro-industrial complex, strengthening its competitiveness. Ensuring favorable conditions for sustainable development of innovative activity of the agrarian sphere should become a priority direction of development of the agro-industrial complex of Ukraine in the conditions of integration of its economy into the world space. The main instruments for achieving this goal should be the development and implementation of an optimal and effective mechanism for re-equipping economic and management processes in the agricultural sector of the national economy. The purpose of this study is to find, develop and systematize the imperatives of economic, social and environmental growth in the development of agro-industrial complex in the context of globalization and determine the place of the country in the world division of labor.
