Issue: №10/3, 2019

The article defines the legal framework for the organization of transactions with bank payment cards at enterprises and the accounting procedure for such transactions. In Ukraine, the number of non-cash transactions in 2018 increased by almost 33.0% compared to 2017 and amounted to 3.1 billion units, while the volume - by 55.4% and reached UAH 1 297 billion. As of 2018, the share of non-cash transactions using payment cards issued by Ukrainian banks reached 45.1% 1. It is 5.8 in. This is higher than in 2017 (39.3%). Such a positive trend is associated with a steady increase in demand for non-cash transactions among Ukrainians and the promotion of innovative financial services. At the same time, there are a number of questions regarding the proper organization of transactions with modern electronic payment facilities at enterprises, especially regarding the documentation of transactions on the use and control of funds from corporate bank payment cards. The purpose of the study is to disclose the legal framework for the organization of the use and accounting of electronic payment means, namely: corporate bank payment cards. The concept of payment card, the procedure and restrictions on its use have been revealed in the article: yes, a corporate bank card, like any payment card, is an electronic payment method that can be used (as well as to perform card account transactions) after current account client will enter into an appropriate agreement with the bank. When making payment card transactions, the legal restrictions on its use should be considered: it is not possible to receive salaries, other payments of a social nature; make payments on foreign trade contracts (contracts); to make foreign investments in Ukraine and investments of residents abroad. Among the features of recording in the account of transactions with corporate bank payment cards should be divided their account as the medium of information (on the balance sheet account on account 08) and the funds stored in such account (for this exclude subaccount 313). Thus, the study found that corporate card accounts have the same rules of use as those for a regular business entity account, but there are a number of restrictions on the direction of use of such cards. Documenting transactions at all stages of the accounting process, from issuing the card to reporting on the use of funds from such card, is essential for the accounting of such cards. References 1.
