Introduction. The deepening of the crisis in the financial sphere, combined with increased competition in the markets for the products of the machine-building industry, leads to their orientation, first of all, to the possible sales volumes rather than production. In such circumstances, the main task of the enterprises is to provide the highest possible demand for high quality products. The economic efficiency of an industrial enterprise is directly related to the increase in production volumes and the constant increase in its quality. Thus, the economic analysis of the production and sale of finished products of the enterprises of the machine-building industry is very relevant today. Purpose. The purpose of the study is to investigate the theoretical foundations and practical features of the process of analyzing the output of finished products of the enterprises of the machine-building industry and to identify possible directions for its improvement. Results. The article is devoted to the research of the basic theoretical principles of the analysis of production and sale of finished products of an industrial enterprise. The basic directions of its realization are studied. The provisions of the analysis of product quality in the general system of economic analysis of production and sale of finished products of industrial enterprise are determined. The theoretical content and significance of the individual categories of quality analysis of manufactured finished products are clarified. Methods that can be used to determine some product quality indicators are explored. Conclusion. Analysis of the quality of finished products within the framework of the analysis of its production and sale plays an important role in the economic activity of the enterprise. The very analysis provides a high level of management of the enterprise and planning of its development in modern conditions of competitive markets. Thus, the research of theoretical and practical features of the analysis of production and sale of finished products in the management system of industrial enterprises of Ukraine needs further in-depth attention.
