Introduction. The rapid development of technology, dynamic changes in consumer demand, and fierce competition in the retail sector require new methods of management decision-making, primarily with regard to innovative projects. Traditional strategies for promoting goods through television, radio, and outdoor advertising no longer provide the expected effect. In addition, innovation and creativity in management decision-making contribute to sales stability and are not only a competitive advantage but also a prerequisite for ensuring competitiveness. The purpose of the paper is to study methods of managerial decision-making based on the analysis of innovative projects of trade enterprises, which involves studying modern project analysis tools. Results. The paper establishes that management decisions regarding innovative projects of trade enterprises may cover: a company's innovative development project; projects for the development of specific areas of trade activity; projects for the development of economic operations. It is established that the analysis of innovative projects of trading companies should be supplemented with: demand analysis; innovative receptivity and feasibility; compliance with consumer demands, goals, and capabilities of the innovative project. It is noted that in order to make informed management decisions based on the analysis of innovative projects of trade enterprises, it is advisable to create a specialized information system with open architecture based on modern programming languages. The most optimal approach is to use simulation modeling, which allows obtaining information about possible parameter deviations and the probability of results, as well as taking into account the time factor. Conclusion. The proposed scientific and methodological approaches to analyzing innovative projects of trade enterprises allow analyzing various options for the development of their implementation, which is the basis for making effective management decisions. The use of integrated indicators and systems of criteria will not only ensure the successful implementation of priority innovative projects, but also their compliance with the company's development strategy. In addition, it should be noted that there is a need to develop specialized software that would ensure the implementation of the above approaches for more informed and objective management decisions.
