Introduction. The paper considers the concept of managing innovative activities of a trade enterprise in the context of informatization, which is based on aspects of project analysis and optimization of business processes. It has been established that the proposed system will significantly improve the efficiency of innovation project management due to the comprehensive consideration of functionalities and expanded communication capabilities. It has been established that innovations become an effective tool for strategic development only if they are implemented in a reasonable, consistent, and systematic manner. It is noted that this refers to an information base that will serve the portfolio of innovative projects of a trading enterprise or an entire trading network. The purpose of the paper is to study aspects of managing innovative activities of a trade enterprise in the context of informatization, which involves studying modern project analysis tools and advanced mechanisms for optimizing business processes. Results. The main functionality of such a system should be: collection, processing, visualization of information about innovative projects; grouping of projects by their types, directions, types of innovations, etc.; analysis and interpretation of the information obtained, its coordination with the strategic goals of the innovative development of a trading company (chain); hierarchy of access levels, granting access rights to relevant user categories; transfer and exchange of information, storage of information. In addition, the system should allow for project analysis and provide opportunities for optimizing business processes. It is noted that retail chains are the most advanced type of retail business, which are the first to develop and implement innovative technologies (projects). They are interested in creating multifunctional systems for managing innovation activities based on a portfolio of innovative projects. Conclusion. The system for managing innovative activities of a trade enterprise in the context of informatization allows obtaining more accurate, reliable, and systematic management information, as well as effectively using it to make informed management decisions regarding innovative projects. The advantage of the proposed system is the ability to optimize the distribution and use of resources and business processes with their rapid redistribution between projects and tasks.
