Introduction. The paper examines the conceptual foundations and practical aspects of forming the innovation and security potential (ISP) of logistics enterprises as a determinant of their socio-economic security in conditions of dynamic global transformations. Innovation and security potential is substantiated as an integrated category that reflects the ability of enterprises to generate and implement innovative solutions, effectively manage risks, and adapt to the challenges of the external environment. The importance of ISP lies in its capacity to strengthen competitiveness, ensure financial stability, and create long-term resilience of enterprises, which is especially relevant for the logistics sector of Ukraine. The purpose of the paper is to justify and deepen the theoretical and methodological foundations for the development of the innovation and security potential of logistics enterprises and to provide practical recommendations for its implementation within the framework of their socio-economic security strategy. The research focuses on systematizing the components of ISP, identifying the main evaluation criteria, and developing a methodological approach to its comprehensive assessment. Results. A methodological framework was proposed, which includes the assessment of three sub-indices: the level of innovation potential (INV), the level of socio-economic security (SEC), and resilience to external threats (RES). Based on this framework, an empirical analysis was conducted using data from five Ukrainian logistics enterprises (Nova Poshta LLC, Delivery Group LLC, ZAMMLER Ukraine LLC, SAT LLC, and Logistic Union LLC). The calculation of the integral index of ISP demonstrated its close interrelation with financial indicators, particularly with the return on assets (ROA). The results confirmed a statistically significant positive impact of ISP on ROA, emphasizing its strategic importance for sustainable development and long-term competitiveness. Conclusion. The research results underline that the development of innovation and security potential is a priority direction for logistics enterprises, as it ensures the integration of innovative growth and security management in one system. The practical recommendations include digitalization of logistics processes, introduction of integrated security management systems, and the strengthening of innovation-oriented corporate policies. Implementation of these measures contributes to raising competitiveness, increasing resilience to risks, and enhancing socio-economic security in the long-term perspective.
