Статтю присвячено аналізу інституційного розвитку та функціональних можливостей Європейської агенції з прикордонної та берегової охорони в контексті зміцнення колективної безпеки ЄС. Розглянуто ключові складники мандату FRONTEX, зокрема створення постійного корпусу, розширення виконавчих та моніторингових повноважень, а також посилення зовнішнього виміру діяльності агенції. Показано, що еволюція FRONTEX сприяє формуванню інтегрованої моделі управління кордонами та підвищує спроможність ЄС реагувати на сучасні транскордонні загрози.
