У статті розкрито економічні та правові аспекти мотиваційного менеджменту у сфері вищої освіти. Особливу увагу приділено порівнянню матеріальної та нематеріальної мотивації науково-педагогічних працівників у закладах вищої освіти України та ЄС. Встановлено диспропорцію в системах стимулювання та окреслено правові механізми регулювання. Запропоновано шляхи підвищення ефективності мотиваційної політики в українських закладах вищої освіти.
