У статті аргументовано, що про фінансово-правову природу інституту адміністрування митних платежів вказують відносини, пов’язані із забезпеченням справляння митних платежів; контролем правильності обчислення, своєчасності та повноти сплати митних платежів; застосуванням заходів із примусового стягнення митних платежів. Зроблено висновок, що адміністрування митних платежів є різновидом публічної фінансової діяльності держави, яка здійснюється митними органами і спрямована на своєчасне та в повному обсязі надходження митних платежів до Державного бюджету України.
