У статті проаналізовано глобальну проблему викидів діоксиду вуглецю та їх вплив на зміни клімату. Декарбонізацію розглянуто як ключовий інструмент боротьби з глобальним потеплінням. Авторами акцентовано на міжнародному, європейському та національному законодавствах у цій сфері. Досліджено стратегії та кроки, спрямовані на зменшення викидів парникових газів, розвиток відновлюваної енергетики, а також модернізацію економіки в контексті переходу до кліматичної нейтральності. Особливу увагу приділено ролі України, яка активно адаптує свої законодавчі та економічні підходи до міжнародних стандартів попри виклики воєнного часу.
