The functioning of the national economy of Ukraine takes place under conditions of increasing environmental challenges, resource constraints, and the need to transition to a sustainable development model. These conditions determine the growing importance of ecological entrepreneurship as an effective tool for combining the economic interests of business entities with the objectives of environmental protection and rational use of natural resources. Ecological entrepreneurship contributes to the formation of new sectors of the economy, stimulates innovation activity, promotes energy efficiency, and reduces the level of environmental pollution. In addition, it creates additional opportunities for attracting investments, enhancing technological modernization, and increasing the competitiveness of the national economy in the context of global environmental transformations. Under modern conditions, characterized by economic instability, the consequences of military actions, and the need for post-war recovery, the role of ecological entrepreneurship becomes even more significant. Its development ensures not only environmental safety but also long-term economic growth, structural transformation of the economy, and social stability. It also contributes to the diversification of economic activities, reduction of resource dependence, and strengthening of environmental responsibility of business entities. Particular attention should be paid to the formation of an effective state policy aimed at supporting environmentally oriented business, including the introduction of economic incentives, development of environmental standards, expansion of financial instruments, and support for green innovations. Important directions also include the development of circular economy principles, improvement of institutional support, and integration into European environmental and economic frameworks. The implementation of these measures will contribute to the formation of a balanced model of economic development based on the principles of sustainability, environmental responsibility, and efficient resource use, as well as to strengthening the resilience and long-term stability of the national economy.
