Introduction. The development of agro-industrial enterprises of Ukraine in the context of post-war recovery is a critical direction for ensuring food security, economic stability, and integration into global markets. Modern challenges caused by military actions have significantly affected production capacities, logistics systems, and institutional frameworks, necessitating a transition to new models of sustainable and innovation-driven development. The purpose of the paper is to substantiate the theoretical and methodological foundations and to develop a mechanism for the development of agro-industrial enterprises of Ukraine under post-war recovery conditions based on the formation of innovative potential, ensuring resilience, and integration into international economic processes. Results. The paper applies a systemic approach, methods of generalization, comparative analysis, and structural modeling to comprehensively assess current challenges and identify key directions of enterprise transformation. It is determined that effective recovery requires a shift to a transformational development model combining restoration of production potential, implementation of innovative technologies, and integration into global markets. The paper highlights the crucial role of innovation, digitalization, and international economic integration in strengthening competitiveness and investment attractiveness. A development mechanism is proposed, which includes restorative, transformational, and integration levels, along with appropriate tools to ensure a consistent transition from stabilization to innovation-oriented growth. Key constraints such as investment limitations, uncertainty, and external risks are also identified. Conclusion. The implementation of the proposed mechanism contributes to increasing the efficiency and resilience of agro-industrial enterprises, enhancing their innovation and investment attractiveness, and facilitating their integration into international economic systems. The practical significance lies in the possibility of applying the results for designing recovery strategies of the agricultural sector. Further research should focus on developing methods for quantitative assessment of the effectiveness of the proposed mechanism.
